Judging Criteria
Performers in the singing category will be evaluated based on the following key aspects:
- Vocal Quality (30%)
- Clarity, pitch accuracy, and tonal richness.
- Control over dynamics and vocal consistency throughout the performance.
- Expression & Emotion (20%)
- Ability to convey the song's mood, story, or message.
- Connection with the audience through expressive delivery.
- Technique & Skill (20%)
- Proper breathing, diction, and articulation.
- Stage Presence (15%)
- Confidence and charisma on stage.
- Engagement with the audience and effective use of body language.
- Song Selection & Originality (15%)
- Appropriateness of the song for the performer’s voice and style.
Each performer will be scored holistically, with a focus on their ability to deliver a memorable and captivating performance.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The contest is open to all PULA members and their children. The participants must be in the below age categories only.
- 5 Years to 10 Years
- 11 Years to 14 Years
- 15 Years to 18 Years
- 19 Years to 40 Years
- 40 Years above
- If a non-PULA member wants to participate, they can join the PULA Facebook group and then register for the competition.
- All entries must be submitted on the link that will be shared with the participants or their parents.
- Please ensure you complete all the details on the form and pay the registration fee.
- Please make a note that once registered, there will be no cancellation or refund processed.
- For group performances, all participants must meet the age criteria. Below age category performers are allowed in a group performance. However, any participant above the age category will not be permitted.
- The participant should ensure that their details (name, email ID, phone number and WhatsApp number) in the form are accurate and updated. Organizers would use this for further communication.
- The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
- The winners of every round will be notified via WhatsApp and email along with the information of next round.
- Organizers reserve the right to reject any entry that does not feel is suitable or appropriate or which does not conform to any of the conditions listed above.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
- The decision of the jury and organizers remain final and not arguable.
- By sending the entries, the entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions mentioned above.
